Bailey and Brandon met while working at Loveland Ski area. As avid outdoor-enthusiasts, they wanted to bring a taste of the Rocky Mountains to their friends and family. The Evans Bridge Meadow was the perfect setting!

While guests were being transported to the bridge for the ceremony, Bailey waited with her bridesmaids in a tent setup in the meadow. She was an absolutely stunning bride in her lace gown as she made her way through the meadow towards Brandon. Bailey’s uncle officiated the ceremony and provided a sweet, personalized touch by incorporating heartfelt stories of Bailey and Brandon.

For this adventurous pair, everything about the day was a clear reflection of who they are as a couple. The tables were named after peaks that they summited together and each table marker was decorated with a photograph of the two of them on top of the peak. Bailey carefully setup rock cairns to mark Brandon’s ‘trail’ to the aisle. They even made their dog part of the ceremony!

It was a sweet, lovely wedding filled with love and laughter. We appreciate Bailey and Brandon for sharing their special day with us and we wish them many more adventures together! Checkout the below beautiful photographs by the very talented Haley Allen photography.

July 18th, 2015 was one of those truly perfect Colorado summer days that can make you fall in love with the state all over again. You couldn’t have asked for a better day for such a sweet couple. The décor was adorned with lace runners, peach accents, white lanterns and beautiful summer flowers… Every detail was downright dreamy.
Nicci was an absolute vision as she made her way down the aisle in her stunning beaded lace wedding dress. One of my favorite wedding day moments is when the couple sees each other for the first time before the ceremony. The gaze that they give each other is so sweet and genuine and cannot be replicated. Nicci and David were no exception as they both looked at each other in exciting anticipation as they start the beginning of their life together.
After Nicci and David’s lovely ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the meadow beside the gazebo. They played games with drinks provided by Peak Beverage and h’orderves served by Tony’s.
Guests then made their way to the barn for the reception. The barn was transformed into a world of dreamy elegance. Ansley Event Design thought of every stylish detail and even hand-crafted a wooden ‘photobooth’ that was personalized with photographs of Nicci and David!
With Elizabeth Ann Photography behind the lens, these are some photographs that you won’t want to miss! Check them out below.
We asked Nicci and David to answer some questions for us in order to see their perspective on the experience and give some insight to the planning process. Here are their responses:
What made you choose Deer Creek Valley Ranch?
We looked at a bunch of other venues before visiting Deer Creek Valley Ranch, and we weren't very excited about any of them. We were getting discouraged, but as soon as we saw Deer Creek Valley Ranch, we both knew that it was the perfect place! We could picture a stunning Colorado mountain wedding there, and we could also picture our guests having a blast with the yard games in the meadow and the Man Cave downstairs. The venue lent itself to a perfect blend of elegance and fun.
How was the planning process for you?
I'd say it went pretty well! We got a massive timeline and checklist from our wedding planner, and we did a good job sticking to it! Once we picked the venue, the rest of the decisions like the caterer and decor were easier.
What was your style inspiration?
I wanted to bring elegance to the ranch. I loved photos I was seeing on Pinterest of mostly white weddings with just a little bit of color, so there was a lot of white and lace with some little peach accents.
What was the most memorable moment from the day?
I have two, and I can't pick! The first was when David and I both broke into tears when I was walking down the aisle. He won't admit it, but he totally started it! The second was when the clouds parted and the sun came out right during our vows.
Looking back, would you change anything?
Not a thing!
